Same vision, even during a pandemic
When the founder of Groubook, Bradley Gough came up with the idea behind the app,
he wanted to make it easier for groups of people to go out. In August 2019, a worldwide pandemic was not even an afterthought.
From the beginning the young entrepreneur's vision was to create an app that would...
1. Help users search local things to do, access great deals, and earn rewards
2. Help businesses drive more customers in
From August 2019 to now, Bradley as well as his fellow founders Ollie Pod and Sam Famulare, still have that same vision, even when being faced with a global pandemic.
The affect the pandemic has had on the hospitality industry has sparked even more of a need for Groubook's platform. The team has a number of Nottingham bars and venues already signed up on the platform that are ready to use the app when businesses are able to open again.
The app will allow merchants to sell pre-booked slots to customers, helping them control customer numbers when restrictions are lifted. While the hospitality industry has taken a hard hit the past year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the company plans to give local Nottingham bars and restaurants as much support and business as possible! All while reassuring users that they are Covid-19 secure.
